Problem Note 37902: SAS® Report content created in the SAS® Add-In 2.1 for Microsoft Office might be repositioned when the content is refreshed in version 4.2
In the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office 4.2, if you refresh SAS Report content that was created in version 2.1 of the SAS Add-In, you might see unexpected behavior. Specifically, the content created in version 2.1 is treated as new content and it is inserted at the end of the original content.
The exact behavior depends on which Microsoft Office application you are using.
- In Microsoft Excel, the new SAS report content is inserted just a few rows after the place where the original content ends.
- In Microsoft PowerPoint, the original slides are emptied and new slides with the SAS Report content are added to the end of the presentation.
As a workaround in Excel, you can delete the cells in Excel and the content will slide back up into place. The next time that the content is refreshed it will remain in place.
